Two local firms start work on apartment project
Two local construction firms Thanh Nhut and Tan Ky yesterday broke ground for an apartment project in HCMC's Go Vap District, which will provide nearly 200 medium-priced apartments once in place after 18 months of construction.
The project comprises two 12-story blocks covering more than 4,600 square meters on Nguyen Van Dung Street in Ward 6, featuring 198 units measuring 77 to 111 square meters each and costing VND15.2 million to VND16.9 million per square meter.
The nearly VND200-billion Splendor project will be ready by late 2009.
The apartment building will have a shopping mall, restaurant, coffee shop, games section and internet cafe, beauty salon and gym on the ground and first floors. Other amenities include cable TV, telephone and Internet lines, as well as gas, water heating, and fire fighting systems.
Green coverage will make up nearly 60% of the total area. According to the investor, some 40 customers have put their names down for the apartments.
