The biggest tunnel brick plant in Highlands starts
The biggest tunnel brick plant in northern Central Highlands has officially started operations in Kon Tum Province.
The VND21 billion (US$1.23 million) plant, invested in by Hung Phat company, has a capacity of 15 million bricks a year.
The company will pump in an additional VND15 billion ($882,350) to build another production line, which will double the plant's current capacity to meet increasing demand for tunnel bricks in Kon Tum, its neighbouring province of Gia Lai and some provinces in southern Laos.
