Spanish firm will advise on metro
The Spanish consulting company Ardanuy Ingenieria SA announced on Wednesday that it had won a feasibility study contract for a section of the new metro in HCM City.
Under the contract, the company will put forward solutions on building the 16km section, part of the HCM City railway system planned for development through 2020.
The feasibility study will be funded by the Spanish ministries of Industry, Transport and Communications and Trade through the Feasibility Study Fund (FEV).
Ardanuy said that its involvement in the feasibility study would make it easier for Spanish groups to take part in the HCM City railway project in the future.
Last week, another Spanish consulting company, Idom Ingenieria y Consulloria SA, signed a feasibility study contract for metro sections No 5 and 6 of the project.
