Nam Long to develop new low-cost condo project
Nam Long Apartment Development Corporation, better known as Nam Long ADC, will start up another low-cost condo project named EHome Eastern Saigon 2 in the fourth quarter of this year, building on its success in this realty segment.
The company has finished the first project of this kind named EHome Eastern Saigon 1 located along Duong Dinh Hoi Street in Phuoc Long B Ward in HCMC's District 9. EHome is a brand name used by the company for apartment projects targeting mid- and stable-income homebuyers working and living in the city.
The company said EHome Eastern Saigon 2 would be developed on a 13,400-square-meter site with five blocks of eight-floor buildings. The project located on Do Xuan Hop Street close to the first project will include 620 apartments ranging from 44.5 to 123 square meters each in size.
The project developer has yet disclosed prices in advance, but says it will keep the selling prices similar to those in the first project EHome Eastern Saigon 1. Apartments in this project are being handed over to buyers since July 18, two months ahead of the committed deadline.
Nam Long developed the first EHome project with three blocks of five-floor buildings with 312 apartments measuring from 50 to 100 square meters each.
Prices of the apartments are from VND500 to VND600 million per unit from 50 to 60 square meters each.
Le Huynh Cuong Nghi, managing director of Nam Long ADC, said that EHome is a typical product tailored to meet accommodation demands of the majority, those who have limited budget but want a greener environment and convenience.
Nghi boasted that the company, established in 2007, was also targeting the mid-end segment that helped the company rode through tough times.
He said that the EHome Eastern Saigon 1 project was offered to the market right in the period of frozen real estate market, but it still attracted hundreds of people who had real demand in buying apartments for accommodations.
