Lilama 18 to build steel factory
Lilama 18 Joint Stock Co has invested VND70 billion (US$4.4 million) to build a steel fabrication and mechanical-equipment factory in Ben Cat District, in the southern province of Binh Duong.
The factory will be capable of manufacturing 7,000 tonnes of equipment per year. Currently, the factory is producing 2,200 tonnes of products, mainly for Binh Phuoc Cement Factory and the Phu Huu Cement Grinding Station.
It also produced 1,700 tonnes of equipment for export to Australia and Cambodia, servicing the construction of the Brightwater Wood Processing plant and the Kampot Cement Factory.
