HCMC authorizes university township project

HCMC authorizes university township project Ho Chi Minh City authorities today will grant a license to Malaysia-based company a US$3.5 billion to build a university township in the city's outlying Cu Chi District, according to municipal Department of Planning and Investment.

The Vietnam International University Township will cover 880 hectares in the Northwest Urban Area, comprising an educational campus and facilities, and commercial and civil components such as hotels, convention centers and civic and administrative zones. The project is expected to be completed within 10 years.

Berjaya's principal activities involve developing and operating hotels and resorts.
